On Saturday, 23 November 2024, the Open Doors Day at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computing (UNIZG-FER) took place, attracting many visitors of all ages. This event offered the public, especially primary and secondary school students, the opportunity to explore the study programmes available at FER and learn about ongoing research projects.
We used the opportunity to showcase our IoT solutions and projects, including activities within the 𝗔𝗜𝗼𝗧𝘄𝗶𝗻 project. Katarina Mandarić, Ivan Kralj, and Dora Kreković demonstrated our solutions for smart agriculture and smart homes, and spoke with prospective students to highlight how AI and IoT technologies contribute to the future of STEM and the wider community.
