On December 6th, the AIoTwin team members from FER had the privilege of showcasing their research results during the Inventorium Day, an event organized by Ericsson Nikola Tesla (ENT). The event brought together researchers from Ericsson Nikola Tesla, the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computing (FER), and the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and Naval Architecture (FESB). The event aimed to highlight internal and collaborative research efforts while fostering opportunities for future joint innovative projects.
Professor Ivana Podnar Žarko provided an overview of the AIoTwin project activities, while team members Ivan Čilić, Ivan Kralj, and Dora Kreković showcased their ongoing work through poster presentations. Ivan Čilić also demonstrated the open-source AIoTwin orchestration middleware, a solution designed to enable edge orchestration of hierarchical Federated Learning workflows.
